  • Production scheduling: Production scheduling is the process of arranging, handling, and optimizing the work involved to increase production efficiency. Production scheduling takes cues from existing demand to create a schedule that the production team can follow.   • Distribution planning: Distribution planning is used to plan orders in a supply chain.
